About Val

J. Val Hastings, PCC
is the founder and president of Coaching4Clergy,
which empowers today’s spiritual leaders through
coaching, consulting and coach training. Val has a
global vision of providing coaching and coach training
to all of today’s spiritual leaders.
Val is an ordained
United Methodist Pastor, Church Growth Consultant, and
Professional Coach. Val has been responsible for
leadership development in over 450 faith communities.
Val
brings to the coaching relationship a rich diversity and
depth. This richness includes coach-specific training
from Coach University where Val received specialized
training in the areas of professional development,
motivation, human interaction and behavior. |

In addition, Val has extensive training and expertise
in Change and Transition Management. This training has prepared
him to empower today’s spiritual leaders and their faith
communities.
Val is a faculty member of Coach University,
the 2007 President of the Philadelphia Area Coaches Alliance and
has received the designation of Professional Certified Coach
from the International Coach Federation.
