Coaching or Relationship Coaching
BASIC COACH TRAINING is
designed to equip today’s spiritual leader with
basic coaching skills that can be integrated and
incorporated into the spiritual leader’s day-to-day
ministry setting and professional toolkit. Coach
training can dramatically enhance the spiritual
leader’s effectiveness as a leader and greatly
increase the impact within their faith community and
the larger local community.
Basic Coach Training provides
the spiritual leader with a strong understanding of
coaching and the distinction between coaching and
therapy, consulting and mentoring. Those attending
will observe LIVE coaching by Professional Coaches.
Participants will be introduced to a Five-Step
Coaching Process, and learn core coaching skills
such as: artful listening, powerful questioning,
distinctions and a strong personal foundation.
A certificate of completion in Basic Coach Training
will be issued upon completion of Basic Coach
Training.

INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP MENTOR
COACHING
Mentor-Coaching provides
participants an opportunity to practice their
coaching, while receiving feedback from an
experienced coach.

ADVANCED COACH TRAINING
is designed to equip today’s spiritual leaders to
coach other spiritual leaders and their faith
communities. Advanced Coach Training is specifically
designed for those who are either:
- Planning to develop a coaching ministry within their denomination
- Preparing to join the coaching team of
Coaching4Clergy
- Planning to develop their own coaching
ministry
Participants will gain
a thorough understanding of the Core Coaching
Competencies and have the opportunity to develop
specialized coaching skills in either Leadership
Development Coaching or Relationship Coaching.
A prerequisite to
Advanced Coach Training is successful completion of
Basic Coach Training, plus three months of
individual mentor-coaching or six months of group
coaching mentor-coaching.
A certificate of completion in
Advanced Coach Training will be issued upon
successful completion of the Advanced Coach Training
Intensive.
