Rev. Alice K. Ford, PCC, NBC-HWC, is the president and owner of Coaching4Clergy. Alice is a nationally respected coach, educator, and ordained elder whose work sits at the intersection of deep listening, ethical formation, and transformational leadership. With more than four decades of experience accompanying people through moments of crisis, calling, and change, Alice brings both depth and compassion to the formation of coaches.
Alice began her professional career in social work, serving survivors of violence and trauma as Director of the Phoenix Rape and Battering Hotline, a trainer with the Women’s Crisis Center of Ann Arbor, a counselor at Ozone House Runaway Shelter, and a co-founder of the Rape Survivor’s Network in Ann Arbor. These early years shaped her lifelong commitment to dignity, agency, and compassionate presence, all of which is the foundation of her coaching philosophy. Alongside her clinical and advocacy work, Alice developed strong leadership expertise through corporate management roles with ADP, American Express, and Kraft Foodservice. This rare blend of pastoral wisdom, trauma-informed practice, and executive leadership allows her to coach individuals and organizations navigating complex systems, high-stakes decisions, and vocational discernment.
Alice has trained and mentored coaches through the International Coaching Federation and the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching pathways. She is known for her excellence in mentor coaching, helping coaches not only meet credentialing requirements but truly embody a coaching mindset.
